Response Innovation Awards
Nominations Deadline: Friday, October 16, 2020
An award for making it happen.
Saying that 'operating a business in 2020 has been difficult' may be the understatement of the year. Beginning in March with the shut-down of the economy through the Summer that saw businesses grappling to re-open, many with crushing limitations, to today, the struggle has been real. Businesses and organizations have had to find creative new ways to serve customers, to safely bring back staff or just stay in business — requiring a level of determination and innovation that rises far above the norm.
The Chamber is seeking to recognize businesses, organizations, and individuals that have invented new and creative ways to overcome obstacles uniquely inherent to the pandemic or that have, in some way, met the challenges to sustain, expand or open new lines of business.
Go ahead and nominate. It's easy.
The 2020 Response Innovation Awards will be awarded to Chamber members in three categories, small businesses, not-for-profit, and large businesses. Nominations must be submitted online through the Chamber’s 2020 Response Innovation Awards website. Nominations will be posted on Facebook and on the Chamber’s Blog Extra. Nominate your own business or another member in any of the three categories. To view current nominations, visit our Blog page.
The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, October 16, 2020. Winners will be announced at the Membership Appreciation Luncheon that will be held at the Chamber office on Friday, October 30, 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, located at 1709 Hwy. 20 W., McDonough, GA. The event will be held outside to accommodate social distancing and all CDC guidelines will be observed for the safety of attendees.
